Vidyalaya celebrated the 60th year of Independence with
pomp. The students of this vidyalaya bagged I and II prizes in March past
display before dignitaries of BEML during Independence Day celebration.

Jayanthi celebration
2nd October 2007, the International Non-Violence Day was celebrated
in a grand manner with vigour and enthusiasm in our school on 1.10.2007.
The bright sun adorn the morning.
Special Pledge was administered to all in the assembly. The celebration of
139th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was inaugurated with the
lighting of lamp and garlanding the portrait of Bapuji by our honourable
chief guest Mr.T.A.Quazi, Ex-Principal of KVBeml.
Gandhij’s favourite bhajan ‘VAISHNAVA JAN THO’ was rendered melodiously by
Kumari Srilekha, our music teacher which enlightened our souls.
The informative and inspiration speech by Mr. T.A.Quazi was an eye opener
even for the adults who have forgotten Bapuji’s principals of simplicity
in the age of consumerism. The program ended with all faith prayer.
HELP AGE INDIA DONATION
The students and the teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya, BEML Nagar took this
program as a team work and with their compassion, gathered a huge sum of
Rs. 1,09,499/-.
The Help Age India thankfully received the DD from Chairman (N) Mr.
S.Prasad. The Principal, Teachers and the students were honoured by the
HELP AGE INDIA with mementoes for their effort.
NAEP PROGRAM
NATIONAL ADOLESCENCE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME was conducted on 15.10.2007.
Lively, interactive doubt clearing session was conducted by the famous
Gynecologist Dr.Mrs. Mythili Vettrimannan for boys and girls of class IX,
X, XI and XII. Mrs. Mythili gave a thought provoking talk to the students.
CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION
The children’s Day celebration on November 14th of 2007, the 118th
birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was celebrated with great fervour. The
day began with Vidyalaya’s prayer melodiously sung by the Vidyalaya choir.
After the prayer, the student who achieved success in KVS National level
were honoured by our honourable Chairman VMC Mr. M.A. Mulla.
The cultural program began with melodious Meera Bhajan. The tiny tots
presented wonderful dances.
Fancy dress competition was conducted for the primary children of class I
– V. The children performed the role of the models enthusiastically and
beautifully under the guidance of the parents who put their efforts in
creativity.
Flower arrangement competition was also conducted for the Primary section,
were they enjoyed by decorating the flowers with their creative mind.
Art and Craft Exhibition
The present Art teacher Mrs. Nalini exhibited her students creativity in
the Art room.
